RESPITE CARE and COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Specialized programs were originally created to allow people with disabilities to participate in recreational activities without being sidelined. Times are changing, and the push for greater integration and inclusion is underway. Respite in the Community provides programs in an integrated setting, where people with all abilities share the experience of being in the community together.

Payment of services is $ 21.80 an hour paid through a Community Respite contract or a Recreational Opportunity contract with DDA.
